heads of curly kail
4oz oatmeal
Half a pint beef stock
A little cream or top of the milk
Salt and pepper.
Boil kail and sieve or chop very finely. Put back in pan
and sprinkle in oatmeal. Add boiling stock. Stir well,
season and add cream or milk. Serve with oatcakes and
butter.
