Marmalade Pudding

Four ounces of fresh white breadcrumbs
Four ounces shredded suet
Four ounces sugar
2 tbspns home-made marmalade
2 eggs
Golden Syrup

Mix dry ingredients and stir in marmalade. Add beaten
egg and put in buttered basin. Cover with greased paper
and tie. Steam for about three hours. Turn out and pour
over warmed syrup.
