Scottish Beetroot Soup

2 beetroots.
3 tablespoons vinegar.
3 onions.
1 tablespoon brown sugar.
2 pints stock.
Seasoning

Method

Boil the beetroots until tender and rub off the skins. Chop the beetroot and onions finely and add to the stock. Stir in the vinegar and sugar and bring to the boil. Season to taste.
